I interviewed Nora Ayala during week 8's gallery. Nora is from Riverside and is a first year MFA in the pre banking program but she already has a BFA in textiles. She says that she eventually wants to open up a print shop in Mexico but she wants to teach little kids whether it be academic or art workshops. Her work includes silouettes of family members including her grandmother, brother and even her dog. Nora's art is described as goth and the theme of faded memories is represented. She said it took her about eight months to create the pieces.
